Safe Electric is the statutory regulator for electrical contractors in Ireland, operating under the Commission for Regulation of Utilities. Only registered contractors may legally complete and certify controlled electrical works such as new installations, alterations and additions.

As a Safe Electric Registered Electrical Contractor (REC), our work is subject to ongoing technical inspection. We are required to demonstrate competence, maintain the correct test equipment and follow strict procedures for every job we complete.

On completion of any controlled works, we issue an official Completion Certificate to the client. This document confirms that the installation has been tested, inspected and complies with the National Rules for Electrical Installations.
